To answer this question, you have to ask three questions:
- What do you want to clean?
- What do you want to do after cleaning?
- How much do you want to spend for each mixed solution of cleaner?
There are many different kinds of cleaners available. The first thing you must decide is what you want to clean. For example, you would not want to clean tyres with the same cleaner at the same concentration, as you would use to clean dust from a dash. If you are concerned about removing heavy accumulations of oily soils from an engine, then you need a cleaner that contains a mixture of oil dissolving solvents, strong detergents and high PH. Pacer Auto Products offers Supa Rip.
For general purpose cleaning and removing light oil films, Pacer Auto Products offer a couple of choices such as Multiclean Plus and Malco Outrageous Orange. These cleaners offer mild alkalinity and are safe for all surfaces. They are designed to life and suspend soils for easy rinse off and are biodegradable.

Wheel and tyre cleaning require special cleaners. There are two approaches, using a caustic cleaner or an acid solution. These cleaners are corrosive and when instructions are not followed can damage the surface. Essentially one wheel should be cleaned at a time. The wheels should be at room temperature when cleaning and the cleaner should only be in contact for a short period of time (see individual product instructions). It is important that acid cleaners NOT be used on “clear-coated” wheels, as it will strip away paint coatings.
Pacer Auto Products offer several cleaners for wheels and tyres such as Mag Wheel Cleaner, Supa-Rip, Multiclean Plus, Malco Outrageous Orange and Malco Fast Shot.
